Scenes from Shikoku and Shodoshima
Introduction
This site introduces the Shikoku Pilgrimage (Henro) to non-Japanese people. It is also a website for the unique and only English guide maps „Shikoku Japan 88 Route Guide“ and „Shodoshima 88 Temple Pilgrimage“, as well as the English explanation book „Visiting the Sacred Sites of Kukai“.
I am publishing 3 books and conducting activities to introduce, explain, and guide the Shikoku pilgrimage to people outside Japan. One of them, [Visiting the Sacred Sites of Kukai (Kindle)], explains the Henro, while the others are actual map books for visiting and walking in Shikoku and Shodoshima.
Although these books were edited for people outside Japan, it is difficult for those outside of Japan to obtain them. This site has been built for people around the world who would like to purchase these books at a reasonable cost.
I love the Shikoku Henro, and my hope is that the pilgrimage leads to an even more wonderful experience.
